• Health Innovation North East and North Cumbria

Our key stakeholders include:

• Patients and members of the public who wish to see better outcomes

• Industry who wish to work collaboratively to create economic growth

• Staff across our partner organisations who are interested in collaborating to drive forward research and innovation, education and training or who wish to see opportunities to stimulate innovation and development

• Industry partners who wish to work collaboratively to drive forward new health and care innovation and create economic growth

• The Integrated Care Board (ICB) for the North East North Cumbria

• Government, the National Institute of Health and Care Research and NHS England, who designate Academic Health Science Centres for the benefit of individual patients and local and national populations who wish to see improved science and citizen stories.

We also work with other collaborative organisations with common goals to improve health outcomes for our local populations and reduce health inequalities.

This includes Collaborative Newcastle, who we work closely with to support our mutual aims on health, wealth and wellbeing.
On a national level we also work with other Academic Health Science Centres to share learning and best practice across the country, and where relevant, globally.
