Bringing together a regional pre-doctoral clinical and practitioner network

In November, NHIP Academy hosted a webinar to launch the Regional PCAF Community. This is a new initiative to link colleagues across the North East and North Cumbria who are on the PCAF pathway. PCAF is the HEE-NIHR Integrated Clinical and Practitioner Academic Programme, and the purpose of the community is to bring together anyone who is doing a PCAF, has previously done one, or is thinking about applying. We hope that this will become a really valuable source of support and information for colleagues across the region.

Attendees from the event said:

“Great event, really helpful to understand the PCAF process and how to apply.”

“This event was invaluable informative and made the PCAF and PHD journey much less scary.”

“It was great to hear from other pre-doc fellows to hear about a breadth of experience in applying and also recognising the similarities in the challenges they have faced in completing their fellowships.”
