NHIP Academy introduce new Fellows Forum

The Newcastle Health Innovation Partners (NHIP) Academy Fellows Forum is a new peer-to-peer support network.

The forum is for researchers working with NHIP Academy and will offer a programme of events to share best practice and network.

If you are a clinician, healthcare, public health or social care professional or methodologist working with NHIP Academy during your academic career development journey, you are automatically eligible to take part in the Fellows Forum events. You do not need to be currently or previously in receipt of a Fellowship.

The first Fellows Forum event will take place on Thursday 19th October 2023 and focus on how to transform dry medical research pitches into engaging, concise, and audience-friendly presentations.

It will be hosted by  Duncan Yellowlees, an expert in academic presentation and science communication with over a decade of experience. Duncan’s bespoke workshop will support in gaining proficiency in distilling complex research into compelling narratives for various scenarios like funding proposals, academic conferences, public, patient and stakeholder interactions, and industry collaborations.  Sign up here.
